hold.start.select Illustrations

A games website by the name of hold.start.select contacted me after seeing my work on R18+ Games Australia, and commissioned me to help with spicing up the site with a new banner image.

My brief was to “capture the attention of anyone who arrives at the size with something unique and interesting. so that they know by looking at the illustration that what we have is a kick-ass gaming site”. Challenge accepted. The final image, which you can see at their website, demonstrates an online presence so awesome that it is literally exploding our gamers’ monitor and controller. That’ll teach him.

The logo was also left up to my design as the site had not yet finalised one. I opted to condense the long title into a more square shape and emphasise the periods in the text, as well as using a font that conveyed feelings of technology and futurism.

hold.start.select were very happy with the banner and have commissioned me for more work into the future.
